The Sustainability Dialogues with Xavier De Le Rue
Pro-snowboarder Xavier De Le Rue has started a podcast series called The Sustainability Dialogues, in which you hear him chat with Prof. Johan Rockström about the overall climate crisis, glaciers, electric cars, air travel, veganism… and a whole lot more!

What are the Sustainability Dialogues?
We‘ll let Xav explain it in his own words:
“The Sustainability Dialogues are a series of podcasts looking at the climate crisis.
I have always felt too guilty to discuss the climate crisis - as someone who has taken so many international flights, helicopters to access lines, promotion of consumption I didn’t think I was the right person to speak up.
Most importantly I hope you will come away from listening to these podcasts as inspired as I was in talking to Johan, feeling positive and empowered, rather than overwhelmed and guilty. Johan is all about the solutions - and solutions there certainly are.”
During the recording, Xav and Johan did a tour up to Mont Fort in Verbier to see a number of glaciers that have receded over the past years, such as the Glacier de Tortin. You can see their route and the glaciers in the embed below.
