Terrain Layers Now Only Available to Explore Members

Dear FATMAP Community,

Since we released the first FATMAP app in 2013, our goal has been to help you discover and enjoy the best outdoor experiences.

With your support we have taken that first app and transformed it into a tool you can use anywhere in the world, no matter what outdoor sport you’re interested in - and this is only the beginning. As we continue to improve FATMAP, we now allow everyone in the world to turn their dreams of adventure into a very real experience. In turn, we’re required to make some changes.

From this week, our Terrain Analysis Layers will become an exclusive feature for Explore Members. First on our Web product, then in our Mobile app.

You will always be able to find adventures and engage with the FATMAP community for free. If you’re not an Explore member, you can try Explore for free for 7 days. You’re welcome to cancel anytime.

It’s a pleasure to build this product with your consistent and valuable feedback. The experience we deliver is largely because of you. We’d love to hear your thoughts on these changes.
